FREEFOLD FURNITURE

Freefold Furniture produces two flat-pack storage systems made from recycled cardboard, with plans to create a long-life version out of a more durable material. Toby Horrocks graduated in Architecture at the University of Melbourne in 1999. For nine years, he worked for John Wardle Architects as Research and Development architect. In 2007, he won the Lockwood ‘Design a Lever’ competition with a design based on minimising waste in manufacture. As well as Freefold Furniture, he now runs his own architecture practice, Toby Horrocks Architecture in Melbourne.
