Minela Krupic was born in Bosnia and relocated to Australia in 1997. Having studied painting at RMIT and Printmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts, Minela creates two-dimensional works on paper including Australian iconography while reflecting the influence of her European heritage. Eastern themes and fairy-tale like surroundings show Minela’s inextricable connection to symbols and ideas that originate from her formative years.
